September 12th, 1998 Minutes
Called to order at 11:55 am on September 12, 1998 by Ken Enenbach.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
Treasurer's report was read & accepted.
Ken brought up the PL tone system, and Mac distributed the maps.
Mac discussed that there are a small number of available frequencies
remaining in Missouri. Co channel systems would be able to be located
closer together, and therefor allow more coordinations, if they would
adopt the tone plan.
The motion was made by Dean WB0SUQ, Joe KB0ZGE seconded to adopt the
voluntary tone plan as detailed on the handout distributed by Mac.
The motion passed unanimously.
Club call of W0MRC was announced.
Mac said all repeaters in MO are coordinated except for one, which may be
in Illinois.
Lots of new 6m activity was welcomed.
Ken Enenbach discussed NFCC activity. All coordination rules are trying
to be brought up to federal law standards. He also discussed the battles
going on across the country, and was pleased to observe that there are no
outstanding issues. No business was brought to the attention of the
board.

Motion made to place CTCSS map in the repeater directory pending a better
piece of artwork & a barter fee.
Mac was unanimously reelected to the board or directors for a three-year
term.
